To clarify - the startmenu no longer works... The startmenu2 beta works fine.

If you use both than only the beta should work.

Still doesnt work.... Where does that the windows actual startmenu have to positioned? Mine Start Menu is up top and the objectdock is at the bottom... Is there a specific way it has to be set up for it to work?

Workaround suggestion for double popup victims: position your taskbar to the righthand side of your screen. There will be still be a double pop up effect, but it won't be so dramatic by far. (In fact, I hardly knew what people were talking about, but it might be different on your screen resolution.)

P.S. and perhaps stating the obvious: Your start menu icon should be on the righthand end of your screen too!

the menu opens kind of sluggish for me... anyone know why? (I've set the delay to 0ms already). Also it has a lot of trouble redrawing the start menu items... ESPECIALLY if i move the mouse at all while it's opening.

Startmenu docklet
works for both xp style and classical
Startmenu2 beta
works only for xp style and you must click precisely on the dock icon.
You need to place all files into a new folder called "startmenu" in your docklets folder.
