Is there any way to make the non-XP start menu hover? I really, really, really, really hate the XP one.

Gave it a try but it made the startmenu flash in its original position then appeared almost entirely off the screen below the taskbar.

Maybe because my OD is at the top of the screen.

The menu popping up from the dock persuaded me into using it. Thanks!
Small hint: you might want to change the name of 'readme.txt' into something like 'startmenu.txt' or so, if you expect people to copy stuff into the docklet folder, or it will clash with other readme.txts.

mikhailk: thank fkewe for that suggestion I am still perfectioning it, getting rid of the "double popup"-effect. Managed to get it working for xp-style, and again, classic style is a bit harder.

Well actually, I expect people to copy this stuff into Docklets/Startmenu/, but I get your point, will change it in the next release.

Andreas,

The menu works great for me. Thanks for the docklet!

Any chance of you doing a "show desktop" docklet anytime soon?

Thanks

I managed to get rid of the "double popup" for the XP style menu. Now working on the classical menu, which, as usual, is more difficult. Those of you who want to test the beta release of this "no double popup" startmen-docklet can e-mail me averhoev.2@hccnet.nl
