Well, to model it I used 3D studio max 5.1, I tried bryce 1st but hated it. I'm having to figure it out myself as I go and 3DS max just makes more sense how it's set up. The only bad side is it's soooo extensive there's no way for it not to be complex. I'd really love to see what kind of insane dock icons somebody who Knew what they were doing could make. For the animation I used Swift 3D, and I always end up in photshop to finish projects.

You inspired me to try to make my own animated icons but unfortunately I'm graphically inept. Would love to see some more for different apps like IE, Outlook, Mozilla,....keep up the great work

I did icons for IE and Outlook if you search type in "Anima" and that should bring up all of the animated icons on file right now. Honestly I don't know much about graphic apps other than photoshop, in fact I've been doing these to help myself learn.With a little patience and a bit of free time you'd be surprised; you should keep at it.
