I have been trying to find the same answer. How to stop "Show Desktop" or windows+D from hiding any of the StarDock apps. All the widgets and ObjectDock vanish. Sucks.

If you right click on the task bar then double click on any minimized application i comes back.
Thats the quickest way i've found.

To keep all your widgets, docks, etc from being minimized, tell all them to be "Always On Top"
I can't get this thing to work at all though. ;/

when i used the first time my docks disappear but i 've checked the option "prevents docks set to 'always on top' or 'always on bottom' from hiding when WinKey+D is pressed" and my docks still ALIVE
