Hi, Judge!
I tried SysStats. It's extremely useful stuff. But... It doesn't want to understand Cyrillic locale.
When I try to enter Cyrillic symbols into a label's text, it works and shows all symbols correctly. But when I try to save configuration, it stores INI-file up to "format=" line in [label] section only.
I change label's text to latin, save configuration and edit INI-file manually. Then load configuration again. All cyrillic symbols change to latin.
And worst of all that in my localized WinXP all names of performance objects and counters are translated to Russian. So when I add a PDH meter it works only until I close ObectDock because SysStats can't store counter name into INI-file.
May I expect that this situation will change to better?

P.S. Sorry for my English. It is not my native language.

Ok without sounding like an idiot i have a problem with sysstats. when you first add docklet it gives you the blue question mark...which i understand...i then goto 'Load' and select my .ini file i want...in the case world clock...however...the clock image just simply loads on top of the questions mark and you can still see part of the question mark underneath...so how do i get rid of the BBQ?

i tried inserting and image of what im talking about but you have to upload it to a website and give the URl so im not going to bother with that...but does anyone have any help on how to eliminate the ?

It works on my Vista...however I have a question Judge....or maybe anyone can help me. When i initially load systats, you get the familiar blue "?"...HOWEVER, when I load a systats compatible docklet the blue "?" doesnt go away...its still there under the image of the docklet...(i.e. world clock)....how do I get rid of the blue "?" or change the image of the default icon from the blue "?" to a plain transparent .png file. (basically where is the blue "?" icon located and what is it called)

any help would be appreciated.

I was looking and I didn't see this problem mentioned. Whenever I shutdown windows forcing Objectdock to restart upon logging back in the file (MediaController.ini) goes blank in the dock and is unusable. This isn't only when I shut down but if I log out of windows then log back in it happens too. The only solution I have found is to unload sysstats and then reload sysstats and reload MediaController.ini.

If there is any solution to this problem please point me in the right direction.

Would there be a way to have the temperature AND location display at the same time?
EDIT
Nevermind, I got it. I just created a new layer

Bug Report!

First of all I have to say that this docklet is a great feature, really easy and fully customizable. But I found a very major bug in the Sysstats system. It does not support different language packs of OS'.

To illustrate, lets suppose we want to monitor the Network traffic with Sysstats. We have to add a PDH Meter class and choose our Network Interface. For instance in an English WinXP the counters value is as follows:

\Network Interface(#Ethernet Controller Name#)\Bytes Received/sec

But in a WinXP-TR installation (which is a Turkish Windows) the value is:

\Ag Arabirimi(#Ethernet Controller Name#)\Alinan Byte/sn

Sysstats monitors the interface without problems, but cannot save the config(.ini) file of the docklet. It fails to save at the first "g" letter in this example. The metter wil work when configured manually, but won't be saved, and when the dock is reloaded you will see an empty docket.

It also won't save the config file if you use one of these Turkish characters (g,i,s, G, I, S) in the docklet label. This mostly is because, it uses ascii format saving and loading the config files. And this bug will occur in all other windows language packages where these alien characters to ascii exist. This problem could be easily fixed using UTF-8 or Unicode when saving config files.

Thanks again for this great tool. I'll be eagerly waiting for a fixed release.
