OK, a couple of caveats that didn't make it into the included readme...

1. I've only tested this with Stardock's ObjectDock+

2. It was designed using SysStats version 2.5.4 - I would not expect it to work well (if at all) with earlier versions.

As a general tip, if it sems like the docklet is doing nothing after you configured it, try unloading/reloading OD - I found this sometimes helps to reset SysStats...

AAARGH! Yet another omission Sorry!

You will NEED the SysStats history.spl plugin contained in Judge's CPU history docklet (https://www.wincustomize.com/download.aspx?LibID=29&SkinID=4305).

This plugin does not appear to be included in the default SysStats distribution AFAIK.

I seem to have all that you mention above and even tho I'm completely new to this stuff, I got the meter up and running, it's actually monitoring up and down traffic. However, after a few minutes of running (launching OB) OB crashes. Before OB crashes I notice that the meter goes invisable with just the font above it visable still...shoot, it just did it again! Anyway, I relaunch OB and all is back again, for a short time.
Any ideas Chris?

Sorry, I don't have OB installed, only OD+.

In any case, it's more than likley to be a script error of some sort.

The way to check this is to highlight the 'NetMon Script' meter in the SysStats configuration dialog, then click 'Configure' then in the dialog that pops up next, click 'Console'.

If you get some error messages there, see if you can copy them & send them to me.

Hi, I'm getting this error message, after ensuring proper configuration of your vbscript and installation of the history.spl plugin.

---ERROR MSG BEGIN---
Object required: 'SysStatsModel.Overlays(...)(...)' at line 51, char 2: (null)
---ERROR MSG END---

TIA,

I don't expect you did this but just in case, I need to know if you modified or renamed anything (eg meters, overlays) in the configuration? Or edited the .ini file manually?

Have you assigned your network card(s) to the meter objects in the configuration? Which version of OD (is it freeware or 'plus'?) and SysStats are you using?

As a last resort try unloading, and reloading OD (if you haven't already).

Sorry about all the questions but I don't really know what causes that error. I saw it sometimes when I was developing the docklet but it usually went away
