Cheers all, comments much appreciated as ever. It's the best reward a skinner can receive, unless of course anyone wants to send me cash in a plain brown wrapper
Larry (and Aleatoric), you're right - I set my display to 120 dpi and things did go a bit awry. One problem is the fact I have skinned the more programs button on the start menu, this is solveable by having a 120 dpi substyle with that element unskinned. However, some of the other glitches I just don't understand. Up until today I didn't even know about this 120 dpi setting so I apologise for any inconvenience I shall look into the issue in a bit more detail and see if I can figure out why certain elements get distorted. At the moment I am somewhat clueless

kaemic, are you using the shareware version of windowblinds? I am not 100% sure but it's possible that the shareware version does not support skinning of that portion of the window.

kaemic the leftside...the shellstyles area on all skins sometimes gets confused when changing skins and reverts to the standard Luna Blue. happens to me quite frequently as I change my skins a lot. It's easy to fix. Go into Display Properties and under the appearance tab set your windows to the Classic Windows. Close Display properties and Re-Open it and the Apply the skin. The shellstyles should be just fine then

Super Skin Tiggz*! I haven't had any of the problems mentioned, whether that helps or not? It's just an easy looking, fine-tuned skin, a MasterPeice! Should have entered this in the Olympics! A Gold, for sure..

Really nice, but could you explain why, on the start menu, the bottom half of my display picture shows and my user name is close to going over the edge?

Alex - have you got the latest version of windowblinds? I don't really know why your userpic is showing, I have it disabled from within the actual skin itself so it shouldn't be showing at all. I was wondering whether this was a feature of later builds of windowblinds/skinstudio. If the userpic is showing (which it shouldn't be) then that would naturally have a knock-on effect to the username.
Hi Leo o/ - thx m8
Thanks for helping out Essencay - you're becoming quite the expert on the ins and outs of windowblinds lately I've noticed
ecku87 - it's good to know it works on win98, thx for the feedback
Thanks to everyone else who has commented, it's greatly appreciated
