i'm gonna test drive this too since i liked your halo one so much. in the shot i see one problem tho. when your screen is all dark and you open a window with a stark white background it kinda blinds ya. i always change them to a soft gray. skin looks good tho. keep up the great work!

Dura-Gloss is basically a recolorized Luna with the exception of the titlebar. I really like the style of the titlebar, but would suggest that glyphs and states be used in the titlebar buttons, like they are being used in the recolorized Luna buttons. The Logoff/ShutDown dialogs are not skinned and there are numerous color errors throughout. I also agree with jaidaksghost that the bright white needs to be toned down a little.

My compter doesnt have a logoff/shutdown dialog... i am in domain mode

I kept it white because most people hate it when you change the folder backrounds....

TasT makes a good point All that really matters is what you think.

I am going to do a more glassy scrollbar and a non-luna systray button but I like the rest...

drove it around a little to see how it handled. seemed to be okay in the speed department but was a little plain - and everytime i opened a new window i got blinded. good start tho.

Bold choice of color. It reminds me of a Bar of Bakers Chocolate. The only thing I can see, initially is that the buttons show no (states.) I mean you can neither tell if they are close, min max, or rollup, and you can not see them highlited when mouse over to click, the proper choice. Relying on people memory or what is what does not always work. If a person was used to using a previous skin that had buttons in other settings or locations, they have to learn which is which on this skin.I see they are set to system default, so that is somewhat comforting. Fuzzing the window background a touch spfter might work as well. The stark contrast os the creamy browns you are using, is not enhanced by the all white background, a buff or soft tan, might set this combination off well. A very good start to a nice piece of work.

If you made the wall, I would pick your favorite and include it in the skin to autoload with it. Just a suggestion.

I beg to differ, the colors are consistant with both of my monitors, varying only in intensity from the lcd to the crt. These colors are not Black. Black being 0,0,0 RGB and as example top of Start Box is 71,71,71 RGB that is not black. The Window Dialog box for your program in the screen shot (AniUtil) 67,67,67 RGB That is not Black. Those are varying shades of Dark to Muddy Brown. I think your monitor is Broken. Also to note if they were all black, then how could you determine where the items where on the screen? If everything was black there would be no way to discern any seperation of items, one from the other.
