Hey knofsky, you have no retore button, for when window is maxed, for some things, FF and explorer windows, clicking the blank space will restore the maxed window back down, but for some apps, like SKS5 and Paint Shop Pro, clicking the blank space will not restore the window. You have no images for the progress bar chunks, just the background, so there is no progress bar movement.

Hey Cavan. Good call on the restore button. Don't know how that got by me. Will provide an update over the weekend. Not sure why you are having problems with the progress bar, though. The background is light blue with a thin bar running through the center. The chunks are not chucks, but a solid metal bar. Anybody else having the problem as described by Cavan? I will research this but it is working fine on my system.

Dear All. Until I submit the update that includes the restore button, the easiest work-around is to right click on the top bar and click restore. In case anyone is wondering how this slipped by me, I never maximize my windows. No room for it on a 12" laptop screen.

Oooops. Cavan is of course right on both counts. For some reason the second part of the skin for the progress bar got dropped. This will be included in the update upload this weekend. My apologies to all for not spotting this before.

Note to Cavan (and everyone else): both the progress bar and the restore button issues have been fixed. Sorry that some of you had to download twice. I think we're good to go now. Enjoy.

Interesting blind...needed dropshadows on the frames...

Thanks Michael. I actually did play with shadows but after testing how it looked on a variety of WP's, decided that the two-dimensional look sans shadows would provide a cleaner, crisper appearance to more users. Plus, (in my opinion) the feature that draws your eyes is the "air" around the frames. This was lost somewhat with shadows. FYI: I also played with semi-transparent but dropped it for the same reasons.

Thanks G-man. It was unexpected to see that, but quite the honor considering the who's who of skinners that have been featured in the past.

Then why even comment? It's called trolling ... Nice original theme, keep up the good work
You know what, that fellow Luuucc was just stating his opinion like you just did; it's what designers need to know....why not criticize "Butch" for just stating, "awesome, great job!"...Oh, I see, because he's in line with your opinion...too easy just to give atta boys all the time; personally this blind is NOT my taste either; just a little too busy and intricate in design thus making it hard to see; and the metal themes get a little tiring.....but I applaud his efforts and others that attempt and/or create these blinds; he is very skilled at what he does....

Ms. Always: That answer is in my description. So you don't have to scroll back up, the WP is included with the Desktop Theme of the same name (Stainless Steel). Link provided above if needed.

I really like this skin. I was able to download the Wall from the DX Theme package just fine for my Vista. I have IE7 and I followed the instructions from Comment #11 and all is well. Thank you for putting such time into this Blind. Stacy Torrance, CA
