I'll go ahead and say that this theme isn't quite my style -- but I do have something I think is very important for you all, no matter what theme you like.
Most people do use a computer at night -- a good question would be who DOES NOT use a computer (or tablet or phone) at night?
These devices are amazing! But the screens on them can wreck your sleep - they display colors that look GREAT in the daytime, you could argue that they look great in the night time, but I don't share that opinion.
Back before the light bulb (or even at the very beginning) we used candles, fire, and dim light bulbs.
Now we use cell phones, and computer screens, which are **MUCH** bluer.
this bluer light is just dandy in the daytime, keeps you awake, and matches daylight pretty well.
But at night, our body's are awaiting that darkness, or very very dim light -- not a computer that
minics the light output of daylight.
I hope I explained that well enough.
There is a very easy way to fix it - get f.lux http://www.justgetflux.com/
EDIT, I should link you all to the research page, it's at the top right of the link above!
f.lux will warm up the colors on the screen at night, make white appear like a white piece of paper under a warm Incandescent light (if you put it on the 2700k setting)
To use f.lux here are a few tips:
Use the slow 60 minute transition and not the default 20 second setting
Set your location to somewhere near you so sunset times are accurate
Get used to the new warm colors at night, it may really take a week -just stick with it!
Finally tell everyone you know, family friends, everyone can benefit from this simple program.
I hope you don't think I'm developer -- I'm not, nor am I related to them et cetera.
