Damn to all publishers that are using stupid region restrictions. I want to buy Sacred 2 and Anno 1404 but I can't.

I would definitely buy Anno 1404, regional bullshit ftw , thx Ubi...
Sins and Demigod deal are nice, at least my friend got Demigod , so we can play together.

Would anyone who's played evochron legends like to comment on it? Looks tempting but after star assault I'm a little wary.

Too bad none of those people having troubles buying in thier region don't know someone in North America than can gift it, huh?

If i did know someone i wouldnt be complaining here :/... but its pretty sad that you need to find friends in US/Canada to actually buy games on digital download sites like Steam/Impulse etc... cause its either unavailable in Europe or extremely ovepriced... Its really hard to find any new game from "big" publisher "correctly" priced on Steam or Impulse, whats worst i dont think it will change anytime soon. In the end , publishers are hurting themselves , as I and many my friends would buy a lot more games for US prices, and noone i know will buy games with 49,99€ price tag especially when u can get same game for 30-35€ in retail.

If they are not available outside US, why is the price shown in GBP?
Reply #14 Thursday, September 3, 2009 11:35 AM
i hate it when the games are regionally priced and charging the same price as it would be to own the physical game i men they don't have any manufacturing costs to pay, i don't think that there is tax to pay ether so why charge the same price as in a store. If they don't want to make a proffit from the US then they shouldn't try and make a proffit from the rest of the world also

The Sins bundle for $20 and Demigod for $20 are especially enticing deals. Too bad I already have both.

Impulse converts price automatically i guess... Maybe there should be option not to show games which arent available in your region.
Yes and also a note here saying the reduced price is not for outside the EU. Has been mentioned before, they just don't care.

Keep an eye on Amazon 3rd party sellers for this. I got Sacred 2 brand new and sealed for 11 euro including post from one of these selllers.
I also got the Anno 1404 collectors box for 30 quid.

Although I don't think they can beat that hearts of iron offer.

You can find good deals on Steam almost every week, even if you are not in US. On Impulse, except for Stardock's product, it's nearly impossible.
