I couldn't find any compatibility information.  Does this release mean WindowBlinds is Win 10 compatible?

Not yet.  You'll know when it is....as its name will change. [it won't have '8' in it]...

In the email I received there is no mention in 'Windows 10 Support Coming Soon' of Decor8. Is this going to be updated to work on Windows 10? And if so I guess it will have a name change? The email had no mention of Iconpackager? Is this great proggy going to get some Windows 10 love too?

Leo, IconPackager doesn't function correctly on Windows 7 or Windows 8. I have given up on it. It would be nice if it could work correctly on Windows 10, but frankly, I'm gonna have to see widespread success before I try it.

Not sure what function Decor10 would have, but then, I didn't use Decor8 either.

Just my 2 cents.

Love was requested for Iconpackager in Vista; Win 7 and Win 8.... and now again for Win 10.

Will it happen?  Probably not!

Unfortunately I get less and less value from my subscription. Skins coming out for WB are less and lesser my taste not given they are incomplete and inconsistent in so many ways sometimes, so I don't even have it installed. Decor and Launch are pretty useless now that Win10 has the startmenu back and even more with Start10. IconPackager is in wrecks, ObjecDock (I know, not part of ODNT) is not maintaiend in ages, DesktopX is dead, I don't need animated Wallpapers at all and I could go on. Pretty sad, if You ask me.

Oh, and I bought Multiplicity and Spacemonger over at Edgerunner before they where part of OD (again), so those don't count for me.

I did the same, but they still show up for me in my ObjectDesktop downloads.

it's not mentioned on the Object Desktop website: https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/

you can also compare the "Get it now" pages of Object Desktop component with the one of Icon Packager:

https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/download.asp

https://www.stardock.com/products/start10/download.asp

https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/download.asp

doubt you'll get an official answer though

Yeah great, another useful prog biting the dust and even more sad considering Win 10s ugly default icons, that show up everywhere even when IP should have changed them. And I resist to let anyone else unknown mess with my dlls or patch my system with obsure 'packs'.

RedneckDude: I have MPC Pro, so that one is different to the OD one, not sure if Spacemonger is the same.

Carl, I do as well, and Multiplicity Pro isn't the same. But Multiplicity Pro is only needed on one PC, the primary. The ODNT version is good for all the secondaries.

Iconpackager used to be great, at one time. Now its listed as legacy and I fear it'll go the same way as Desktop X. Stuck in limbo until poof...all gone.  [e digicons]:'([/e]

I've been an OD susciber almost from the start. It is now a shadow of what it once was and decline is across the board.Once a pioneer now just tending a cow.Soooo disapointed with this company and much sadness for all the great artists and other suscribers. Many things were never fixed and others just faded out. Time to move I guess...

Bonjour

Trés déçu de stardock , et wincustomize , de moins en moins de peau , d'icone , de cursors etc... et,  tout est payants , je pense , que cette socièté se repose sur ses lauriers.

Object Desktop is available for $49.99 and can be downloaded at www.objectdesktop.com.

A good company would make it clear to possible customers that most of the products will not work with Windows 10 though until sometime in the distant future !

I agree, OD is a shadow of its former self, what with the disappearance of DesktopX, among others.  It's all well and good to develop new software for new OSes, but the old favourites like Iconpackager NEED to be maintained [and updated] in order to make desktop enhancement complete.  I mean, what's the point of customising all other elements of the GUI and leaving MS' dirty old default cons on-screen.... especially in Win 10.  They'd have to be the butt ugliest icons I've ever seen... they're nauseating at best.

My refusal to upgrade to Win 10 is, in part, due to the unavailability of compatible Windowblinds and Iconpackager for it.  I simply could not bear to look at 10's GUI and default icons for the next few months, so Win 8.1 will remain on all my machines bar one.... which will be used to evaluate and modify Win 10 to see if it is fit for my personal use.  If not!  I'll ditch it.
