Excelent DX Object!!! The only incovenient (at least in my PC) is that all buttons are scrambled. For your info I Downloaded and applyed it via Stardock Central. Nevertheless, I really like your work.

darkbasic - I think you may need the latest version of desktopX and/or objectmedia to use this

Saint John - thx for the comment, I'd be interested to hear more about the button scrambling if possible I've just downloaded and installed again from WC to check things and all appears as it should be

Ok Tiggz, first of all I do the same as you: I erase the file and then I apply via Stardock Central. Once Again I've the same problem. Next, I download via Wincustomize and apply and still the same happens. If you want I can send you via email a picture. I can't understand what happens, it is the first time I have this kind of problem.
I'm using the latest version of DX.
This info is for you, don't worry about me, I can fix this in my PC. Perhaps the inconvenient is in my PC, but if somebody from the up to now 142 downloads experienced the same, that person can let us know.

I have a similar problem - download OK, but when importing the left hand set of buttons is way off to the left, ouside the unit. I drag them back and all is ok. However, the text on mouse over is still way off to the left, and I can't drag it, as it disappears on leaving any button. My res is 1600x1200, all latest DX etc. Love this player - please tell me how to fix it

Mekon - I've been so busy I haven't had time to fix this but there are 2 solutions.

1) right click the dx systray item and select list objects, dbl click the mediastatus object and adjust it's screen position on the far right tab until it lines up.

2) delete the object, change screen res to 1280x960, re-import the object - it should all line up

sorry about the problems, I didn't test it at all resolutions etc - an update will be forthcoming to fix this and to add some more features

btw: thx to Saint John for helping me identify this problem

Tiggz, Love your stuff. The new WindowBlinds is excellent. I have 2 questions though: Where do I get the media player you made this skin for, and when using your skin for IE, the tool bar buttons are shadowed in pink. Is there a way to change the color of the shadow? Thanks.

Explorer - this mediaplayer is a DesktopX object and is best used to control ObjectMedia, another Stardock product. As to your pink troubles, I can't immediately think of why you might be having this problem. I haven't experienced anything similair and haven't heard of anyone else having the same problem. Apart from reloading the skin and/or rebooting your system I can't really help, sorry.

Thanks for the help Tiggz. I figured out the media player, but I can't get it to work (
Clicking the folder icon does nothing, and dragging and dropping does nothing. The media player just sits there. I can open the door, but that's about it. I know this isn't a help forum, but do you have any ideas? How about a GT2 skin for Winamp?

Have you got the latest version of ObjectMedia? (1.00d Build 148) Or possibly the latest version of DesktopX is required (2.00.011).

Maybe you could try starting ObjectMedia manually b4 trying to use the media player.

er, can't think of anything else...

As to your other question...not sure whether I will get around to doing a winamp skin but I'm close to finishing a nifty GT2 WinMedia skin

Well, I've got the latest version of ObjectMedia. I don't know what's wrong. When I start ObjectMedia, the icon shows up in the tray, then disappears in about 5 seconds, with no visible program running. Oh well, I guess I'll stick to Winamp for now...

Thanks again for the help Tiggz

Thx Phoon - you have mail btw

Sorry to hear about your ObjectMedia problems explorer - maybe post a question on the help message board to see if you can track down the cause...

I've always planned to update this object, I just never seem to get the time - I want to add video controls, a configuration menu, the ability for the player to remember what colour the user prefers etc etc...hopefully one day...
