don't know tjbeth78 - have you configured it to a valid zip code or city? It updates fine for me... are all the scripts enabled?

Yes, using the correct zip code for my town and all scripts are enabled as far as I can tell.

Sorry but i have had trouble with this application, great looking but when I changed the location the "invalid zip" message got into a loop this meant despite restarts I had to delete the object and all its contents, which it didn't has it left the round object top left corner which I could not remove at this things have got worse as the app is not in "Add/Remove" It could not be uninstalled from there, the problem of the looping remained so I manually deleted all the files that I could find that refered to this app, but I now have a big message box on my screen saying "INVALID IMAGE" can you please let me know how to rid myself of this and any files that may remain so that I can download the app again and try it again

hi bubobubo - this is not an app in itself, it is an object that require desktopX to be used, as such it wont appear in add/remove programs. Assuming your installation of desktopX is in good order (if in doubt uninstall and reinstall desktopX from add/remove), the best thing to do is to start a new theme and reload the object. If you don't wish to start a new theme, click the dx icon in the systray and select list objects, this should reveal to you any parts of the object that remain in your current theme. The way to stop the looping is mentioned in the author's comments - if you at first accept the default zip code as given and then click on the location you will again be prompted for the zip code, at this point you can put in your own location.

Im sorry for not making myself clear about what was happening with the looping, I did as was instructed but when I tried to change locations by clicking on the location bar to enter Athens,Greece it accepted it then approx 5mins later the "invalid zip" message came up the Athens name disappeared from the location bar and I re-entered the default zip York,England but the "invalid zip" came back and then I was in the loop because I had no location bar to click onto it had disappeared the only icons showing were sun icons nothing else, no temps,clouds,days and thats how I came to be in the predicament as described in my previous posting. Please bare with me as I am new to this "Object" game and I'm sure its something simple. I'm downloading the Object again and I will inform you either way how things go. Downloaded again installed, at first the only thing not to appear was the clouds but they are now showing but a I have noticed in round object top left corner the centre object instead of being a triangle is now a 4 pointed star. Thanks for your help all seems ok now & I'm glad because it's a Great skin.

the four pointed star indicates that the wind direction is variable or that there is no wind
