NZB - Thanks
sc0obizzle - The download should result in a .DxTheme file. You should be able to double-click on it and it will be opened with DesktopX, if you have it. If you don't, then go here:Link

snarph - That's high praise! (I know exactly what you mean )

Norton throws up Malicious Script. Why do you think this is happening?

FR&SJ - Not sure - don't use Norton myself, but it could be the mail checker script? Is there a way you can tell Norton to ignore DesktopX scripts?

glowster - It could happen, not sure when I will have time, though.

The bottom bar keeps jumping to the top of the screen and all the controls on the left side (of the bottom bar) then disappear. Makes it unuseable for me which is a real shame because it looks like it could be a genuinely useful desktop.

MountainDragon, yes the ability to do so is within Norton. I had to authorize in-full a year ago the K-Dock. My concern here with this DX theme is that it is the first for you {"My first complete DX theme, finally (hopefully) ready for public release."}
and I wanted to set-aside any worry. I went ahead and authorized it. I very much like the Taskbar and have one question so far. What happens to the XP Taskbar? I ask this because we use WorldFlash Ticker which operates (positioned) above the XP Taskbar, and in this case using your theme it still remains positioned as such, but below it of course is empty space where the XP Taskbar would normally be. Am I correct that the XP Taskbar is there...but hidden?

I see in your screen shot your Taskbar at the bottom where the XP Taskbar would normally be; including all other WindowBlinds we have used over the years. Our settings are 1600 by 1200. Interestingly, your Taskbar positioned at the "top" or "bottom" is shorter in length from left to right.

FR&SJ - There is an option in DesktopX configuration (at least in builder mode, not sure about client) to hide the XP taskbar. The theme has this option set on. If you wanted to bring it back you could - however, the bottom bar would probably have to go, as it wasn't really made to co-exist. As to your concern with this being my first theme, it is, but I have been developing software for a living for twenty years.

Stig2K - I've noticed that bottom bar jump up thing a few times, and at this point I haven't been able to locate the cause - for me it has only happened on loading the theme. The work-around is to press the Dock button on the bottom bar and move the mouse off of it. It will reposition itself and should be alright after that. I don't know about the controls disappearing. Sometimes DX is still loading and you click on a control and nothing happens so you move the mouse, but when DX comes back it sees it as a "click-drag-drop" action, and you end up moving something you didn't intend to. The controls are contained by the bar, so when they move off of it, they are invisible. I should probably do an update with all the buttons movement disabled. Let me know if you need more ...

Thanks MountainDragon! Your tenure in software (mentioned by others) is why we went ahead and downloaded and installed last night. I understand the Taskbar information. But, what do you think is happening with your Taskbar not being placed from left to right...like all Taskbars we've had do? This may help: Your Wallpaper and apparently "frame" (for lack of appropriate word) seem to be within our screen. In other words; say about two (2) inches in from top, bottom, left, and right.

FR&SJ - What screen resolution are you running at? The theme is currently only set up for 1280 x 1024. It sounds like you are running something higher, like 1600 x 1200? I could do some tweaking of the bottom bar to make it work better if that is the case, and a new larger image file would fix the frame and the wall. Do the other objects work okay?

That is what I said in #14 kind Sir. We have it set at 1600 by 1200 as recommended by specifications (DELL Inspiron 8200). Yes, all other objects do place themselves to the sides. Seems to be a script error however with regard to the mail; but that is not too important as SysMetrix can handle this mail account.

Yeah, sorry, I missed that you stated what your resolution was. I wish my monitor would do 1600, but alas, no. I will be doing an update in the next few days along with a release specifically for your resolution. As to the mail checker, I'm not sure what the error could be, but I (and others) have been using the exact same script with no problems for quite some time. Could you be more specific?
