Are you using 1280x1024 resolution?

Any way to make it resolution independent?

I have 1440x900 resolution and the side bar slides to the left (about its own width) and stays there. How do I get it to "anchor" to the right side of my screen??? I love the theme, btw!

In DesxtopX Builder mode, right click the bar and select edit scriptgo to line 018 and change 1265 for 1425 and line 026 change 1090 for 1250.
Keep changing de values until you found the right place.It will be better change de size of the bar because it's 190x1000 and you have only 900! set 190x875 + -.You will need to remove some objects on the bar or resize them.

This is fantastic and would will help me get most of my desktop back for working (I have 1280x800). I would also like to make some changes to the script, but when I try your suggestion editing, DesktopX Builder crashes and unloads the desktop. Any ideas?

Also, one of the things I would like to change is to dock it to the top instead of the side. With 1280 to work with instead of 800, I could get everything in by changing their positions. I should be able to do this, yes.... if I can keep DXbuilder from crashing when I click edit?

Please advise. Thanks. Again, great job.

To do that you will need to rotate the bar to horizontal position.

CUSTOMIZE THE BAR

'Object's top left corner for the "hide" state
hideTop = -192
hideLeft = 120
'Speed to hide object
'Higher number = faster motion
hideSpeed = 20
'Delay before we hide the object (milliseconds)
hideDelay = 700
'Object's top left corner for the "show" state
showTop = -40
showLeft = 120
'Speed to show object
'Higher number = faster motion
showSpeed = 20

Thanks.

In a few days I will upload a theme with horizontal bar.

Its working here.
Have you cheked the " Script enabled"?

If you change any object in the side bar and save you need to put the pics again.
Thanks

Hi Edward Grudzien.

Have you tried my horizontal version for this theme yet?

If you download the horiz. version please make this changes:

In DesxtopX Builder mode, right click the bar and select edit script

CUSTOMIZE THE BAR

'Object's top left corner for the "hide" state
hideTop = -192
hideLeft = 120
'Speed to hide object
'Higher number = faster motion
hideSpeed = 20
'Delay before we hide the object (milliseconds)
hideDelay = 700
'Object's top left corner for the "show" state
showTop = -40
showLeft = 120
'Speed to show object
'Higher number = faster motion
showSpeed = 20

Please give me feed-back.
Thanks.

Hi emecoelho ..

I too had problems with the slideshow and getting it to work. This morning I decided to try a few things and this is what I discovered and now it seems to work for me.
I went into Object Navigator (List Objects) and looked for the slideshow, I noticed that the slide.bkg size is incorrect, (1) on height, and that the slide.bkg was also not loaded with the theme. I changed the size appropriate to the frame, and also called for a new object to replace the one that wasn't there. (Now I can right click on the slide.bkg object on the Desktop and the Properties Box comes up, whereas before I couldn't.) Then tried a few ways to load some photos, and what seemed to work for me was to just select a group and to drag and drop the group from inside the folder. There may be other ways, but that is what seems to work so far for me.

Thanks by the way, I used the script for the autohide menus on a theme of mine, and was thinking about using the slideshow as well, but at that time couldn't get it to work.

Nice wall by the way, very soothing in its appeal!

Best Regards,

Steve
