I guess what I am saying since I have installed DreamScapes the program seems to change without what any upgrades. I am just learning the maker part. The changes are how it looks in the folder (desktop background), freezes on some dreams that were downloaded (that ran well prior). I have a 512MB ATI 1600 video card and 1.5 Gb of RAM and also 2 Gb of ReadyBoost so I do not think that is the problem. But, I would expecct the dream to show the JPG so as to see what the file is rather than a generic icon that is the same for all the dream files.

your numbers seem ok but i'm not a tech so not really sure , I do know that there still are some problems with Vista 64bit and IE7 64bit ( won't show Video preview ) - while Firefox and IE 32bit work fine - as for your desktop background image ? beats me ? are they saved in the right folder ? - why don't you try copy them from their folder and paste into desktop background folder that works for me and i get the image - try that ...

I had a similar problem with video previews/thumbnails due to Nero 7.5.9. It seems that two video codecs in the Nero common files directory was screwing with default codecs. When I fixed the Nero problem, the errors stopped. To fix the codec errors you have to rename two files in the the following dir......C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\DSFilter\
rename the following two items:
NeVideo.ax - rename this (for example 1NeVideo.ax)
NeroVideoProc.ax - also rename this (for example 1NeroVideoProc.ax )
rename the following two items:
NeVideo.ax - rename this (for example 1NeVideo.ax)
NeroVideoProc.ax - also rename this (for example 1NeroVideoProc.ax )

so far i haven't found ready boost boosting anything i tried it sooooo maybe more real ram could help won't hurt ----- try WC support for a possible fix .I don't know what to tell you except I have an ATi 128 vid card with 2 gigs DDR2 ram and all the Dream stuff has worked perfect for me I'm not that savvy of a tech person to help you with that problem - many people are having some problems with this dream thing - i guess in time updates will hopefully fix things
