I think installation of Windows XP SP1 (or SP2, I can't remember) changes the way you change your program defaults. I'm running SP2, so if you can't find an equivalent "Set Program Access and Defaults", try looking in your Control Panel.

Jep me to here, if i extract it in the docklets folder nothing is happening...
Don't you need a .ini [D:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Docklets\SysStats\configs] file to let it work ?

Thank you...very nice docklet that works well...only thing for down loaders to be aware of is that it logs you in automatically

AndreasV, I'll start a Y'zDock port in the next couple days.
Also, I've done extensive testing on MSN Messenger 6.x and Windows XP. Many of you have commented on that you need Windows Messenger installed to get the docklet to work. That is absolutely correct.
Unfortunately, Microsoft does not really have an API to communicate directly to MSN Messenger 6.x (or even 5.0). Even if you export the TypeLib that is contained in the new msnmsgr.exe it really points to the old Windows Messenger interfaces. A number of people on the msnfanatic web site have been complaining about this, and there isn't a workaround for this.
What does this mean? My docklet uses the COM interfaces that Microsoft has exposed, which means the Windows Messenger program files need to be present in order for this docklet to work correctly. Sorry, but Microsoft isn't playing nice here.
I found another interesting bug when testing MSN Messenger 6.1 and Windows Messenger 5.0. When I use the docklet to "SignIn" it will launch both login dialog boxes. It usually launches the Windows Messenger login first, then it will launch the MSN Messenger 6.1 login box. You can just cancel the Windows Messenger login box. It's a pain, but I haven't found a workaround yet. It seems that Microsoft is not sharing logins between the two messenger clients. In fact, if you log into Windows Messenger first, and then MSN Messenger, you will receive a notice from Windows Messenger that it is logging out. If I find a workaround, I'll post it.
