Have you tried the "test - aqua.bat"? Is it working?

I'm confused as to where I specify the links skin.ini files. I tweaked the test-aqua.bat to work with my files, but can't get it to work in objectdock. someone previously called them the "Command line" parameters, but I have no idea what that means. Thanks.

The update version 2.01 is great. The menu creator works perfectly. I only have one question. When a meny only has one or two items in it, it creates a blank entry at the bottom. Is there anyway to make it so only two items show and not the blank line?

Thanks for the help.

Nice work Jiri - the two editors are great.

I know you've earlier said that you wouldn't develop it further but I would like to make a request anyway: Could you have an option for the menu to display the contents of a folder with or without icons? That way I would only need one menu app. Currently, for example, I use ShortPopUp to display the contents of my desktop folder.

It's just me or I can't see any previews in the Frames and elements window, I can't do anything because I don't see what I'm doing! I think is a bug!

Jiri, I have made a skin to go with the new nvidiaXP wb4 but I can't find your e-mail address to get your permission since I used your KkMenuAqua skin as a template. Please e-mail me here... dougwadkins@hotmail.com & I will send the png, ini file & preview for you to look at.
Thanks

i agree with jarget, if someone could realy simplify the instructions for someone who is retarded in any sort of programming. Like go through, step-by-step, not leaving out anything thatd be terrific.

Okay I've used the old KkMenu before and I just downloaded the new version but I'm totally confused. The .bat works. That's not the problem, I'm trying to get to run on objectdock. I know you guys TRIED to explain it but it doesn't help. You guys keep saying open KKMENU.ini but there isn't any! There's a folder called MENU that contains KKmenupowering.ini, KKmenuoffice.ini, etc. but no plain KKmenu.ini itself like on the old version. Did you upload a messed up file or something?!

When you righticlick on the icon in your dock it brings up the properties for that dock item. The link should point to the KkMenu.exe program & look something like this...C:\Program Files\ObjectDock\MENU201A\KkMenu.exe (no quotes)
In the arguments the first entry tells the item which menu to display i.e. graphics or microsoft office or powering etc.
The second item tells it which skin to use, i.e. KkMenuSkin Aqua or KkMenuSkinNela or whatever skin you want. Ther should be no quotes, only a space between the 2 entries.
You will make a separate ini file for each dock icon ( to display whatever programs you want to run from that icon).
You only need 1 ini file per skin to use for the menu that appears when you lef-click on the dock icon. Each icon in your dock can use a different skin ( if you wanted)that's why you put the name of the skin's ini file in the arguments.

If you use the KkMenu Editor provided. Open it and select the new menu button then change the name for it where it says New Menu to Whatever you want i.e. graphics programs, utilities etc...Then click on that item in the tree and you can pick over on the right side if you want the item to be a separator, sub-menu, or shortcut and use the browse buttons(...) to locate the program you want to include and the location of the image (png) you want shown for it

Hope this helps a little

let me start off by saying I love this thing, and I haven't had hardly any problems getting it to function correctly. I have however ran into some kind of issue though. I wanted to make a games menu to start multiplayer games like Mohaa (Medal of Honor; Allied Assault),Alien Vs. Predator and the like. I get a strange looking error when it launches the console for Mohaa..and it goes a little something like this, Drum roll please.....
"--- Common Initialization ---
Medal of Honor Allied Assault 1.11 win-x86 Mar 5 2002
----- FS_Startup -----
Current search path:
C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Menus/main

----------------------
0 files in pk3 files
Couldn't load default.cfg

Notice the backwards slash for the "Main" directory. I have tried without success to fix the problem in the *.ini but it doesnt show that where it looking for the .*exe is shows a different directory all together. Anyone jnow what to do?

i.e. something like this...
Mohaa = "IS","mohaa.png","C:\Program Files\EA Games\Medal of Honor\mohaa.exe","",0
