rric1 the base images are layered wallpaper images with button and animation overlays, as a result the theme is stuck in size 1280x1024. i tried resizing the base images but they were so unclear it made the theme look bad... and since I am just updating anothers works, I must keep in the original artists spirit of quality. believe me if the theme wasent in full page layers and the resizing kept the same level of quality graphics i would certainly have made a few different res builds...

You've done a fantastic job with it.
Now... I'm gonna start customizing it for a TabletPC that I have. It's going to impress the hell out of some people...

This is unreal. A new threshold in DX themes has been reached. Awesome work.
I do have one question, though. When will the Users Guide show up at Amazon.com?

My only two gripes are these:
1. Resolution. This would be sick in 16x12. Plus, some of the items, such as meters and clocks overlap and look not so good.
2. Way too much? There are nine screens in all and much of the commands overlap, and several of the screens don't really have much functionality beyond aesthetics (holodeck screen, unless I'm missing something)
Awesome work, though.

Thanks BoXXi
each interface is full page and is not able to be resized on the fly...so its stuck at 1280..
the extra buttons in the other interfaces are programable shortcuts.. to modify any way you see fit... thats why they have no function...
its a work in progress and not everything is 100% finished.
thanks for the support all:)

I'll fiddle around with it some more then.
BTW, once I reloaded the them, the systray icons showed up. Weird.
I'll try to work on the programmable buttons as well.
Great work, all around.
We're such geeks.

best run at 1280 res.. other resolutions may not have good results..
the shutdown reload terminal is a shut down utiliy.. it will shut down the PC not unload DX..
screen shot is a compilation of 9 of the many interfaces.each interface is full screen.....
Lcars Computer net 5.5 use layered wallpapers as the backgrounds for the objects/buttons etc, (each Background constitutes one interface and Lcars has 9+).. to switch res would misalign the positioning of the objects in correlation to the Background.
A possible fix would entail. taking every part of a Background image and turning it in to its own object then aligning it with the corresponding buttons etc..not an easy task as Lcars already has multiple layered backgrounds each with many Buttons/animations. Currently 300+ objects if I remember correctly...
with the current build of Lcars most of the screen at 1280 is full. to try and squeeze it in to a smaller area would not be possible, as elements would either be pushed off screen or stacked on top one another..It could be resized for larger res but that would be at a time when I would have more free time than at present..
