>>>PLEASE INSTALL THE HOOG05_54 FONT FOR THE CALENDER TEXT TO BE READ AS INTENDED (Included in zip)>
This is my first attempt at creating a DesktopX theme as complete as I wanted.
UPDATED...Fixedsome bugs and new matching Theme. Please read 'Comments', for any troubles you may have.
For 1280X1024 res…includes configurable drive details, CPU and ram status.
Email viewer that opens Outlook by either double click on text or first far right sidebar button.
Recycle Bin that opens the folder by doubleclick on text or choose to delete by double click on corresponding sidebar button.
Also includes two separate weather docks that need to be both configured to the desired locations. Best to be connected to internet before applying this theme as the weather docks work better that way. The first weather dock is part of the sidebar while the second, more detailed view is opened into a matching dock by double click on the third far right corresponding button. Thnx to Martin for the use of his scripts on these.
There is also a matching calendar which can be opened up by double click on the fourth button right-hand button in the main sidebar (Thanx again to Martin for the use of his script).
This sidebar also includes a TCP in and out set of histograms and data. They are currently activated using the RAS Port and u may need to configure them if u cant get the info from there. Works fine for me but if you need to configure, you can do so by opening up the object’s properties and configuring the ‘Data Source’ from the ‘Graphical Performance Meters’ in the ‘General” area of the object’s properties.
Also included 24 application shortcuts that go from steel grey to color on mouseover and are activated by Double click. I included in the zip, the templates for both the away state and mouse over state of the button so that you may use whatever graphic program to create your own buttons (they will need to be resized before using to the existing button size, but left the templates bigger to make it easier to design your own). Feel free to configure these shortcuts to how you like.
Finally, included in the bar, a MP3 player with volume and set position sliders.
Left hand corner of the top screen just have some useful tools I found on the DX site for mouse position and color picker…thanx for those who provided the scripts for that..its very handy to do graphics work onscreen.
The wall (included) is one of my favorites ever by Josh Costa. You can visit his website at
Link I have also done a matching Windowblinds theme which can be seen in the preview of the same name ‘DARK INDUSRY’, and is included in the zip.
Thanx heaps to Pinchecl for his inspiration from his great Sysmetrix and related work.
The Icons I use, which match pretty coolly is the “Prey” icon packager set by Z Studio.
Hope you enjoy, and comments welcome.
