As I said in my e-mail to you, you need to reduce the work area by 150 pixils, do this by right clicking on the dx icon in the system tray and going to the config. from there press the work area button and put -150 in the box farthest to the left

I figured it out - thanks for your email. Some additional comments:
1) RESOLUTION: It may be built for 1024x768 but you can also make it show nicely in any other screen size. Follow this:
- Right click the DX icon on the task bar and switch to Edit mode
- Right click again and select "List Object"
- Find the one called "the real dock"
- Right click on it and choose "properties"
- Go to the last tab named "Summary"
- Correct the "Height" attribute to what you need (eg if you are 1280x1024 set height to sth between 1000 and 1024).
- Apply, then OK
- Close Object Navigator
This will make the bar at least span your desktop's height. Play around with the objects to line them up vertically and add more.
2) INTERNATIONAL WEATHER
- Go to www.weather.com
- In the "Local Forecast" field type in your city and click go
- It will give you one or more optional links and you will have to choose the correct one for you.
- Click it
- You will then be directed to a URL that's sth like:
http://www.w3.weather.com/outlook/travel/local/XXXXXXXX?from=search_city
- The XXXXXXXX is the zip code you need to put when the script asks for it.

Would anyone know if the unregistered version of DesktopX severely limits the bar? I wasn't able to interact with it almost at all.

Latin, please enlighten us on the wallpaper changer issue. it does not work, whether a background image is set under "appearance" or not.

Taskbars much too wide for the overall screen size and the clock seems to take over the taskbar-and why a bottom taskbar when you have one on the side
